Ramen Danbo: Popular Fukuoka-Style Ramen Shop - Perfect for Lunch or Dinner
Established in 2000, our ramen shop aims to be loved by the local community.
Founded in 2000 in Chikushino, Fukuoka Prefecture, Ramen Danbo is a beloved local ramen shop deeply rooted in its community. We've expanded beyond Kyushu and Kanto, now with locations overseas as well. Our specialty is tonkotsu ramen, the soul food of Fukuoka, a favorite among people of all ages. Whether it's a family outing or a late-night craving, our ramen is a go-to choice for any occasion.
Even amidst life's hustle and bustle, we believe a bowl of our ramen can offer a moment of respite. That's why we meticulously craft each bowl, using broth prepared fresh in-house.
The Secret to Our Flavor
- Soup
- Our pure tonkotsu broth is made by simmering carefully selected pork bones and water over high heat, extracting every last bit of flavor. Freshly prepared in-house at each location, our broth is rich yet refreshing, making it enjoyable even for those unfamiliar with tonkotsu.
- Noodles
- Our extra-thin straight noodles are the result of meticulous collaboration with artisans from a noodle shop with a long history. Not only do they perfectly complement our broth, but they also retain their flavor and firmness regardless of cooking time.
- Spicy sauce
- Our signature spice blend, featuring chili pepper and a unique combination of Chinese herbs and medicinal ingredients, enhances the depth and complexity of our rich broth.
- Char siu
- To bring out the natural umami and sweetness of the pork belly, we slow-cook it using a method that locks in flavor, ensuring every part, even the fat, is tender and delicious.
